2007.10.01 Garbage Truck


In most places, waste disposal, or taking away the garbage, is handled by the city government. Here on Maui, it is done by a private company. The company that takes away the garbage in our area is called Aloha Waste Management. I think it is really interesting to see the big green trucks running all over the island carrying tons of garbage with ALOHA in big letters painted on the side. The trucks all have a slogan painted under the company name. It reads, “Say aloha to your garbage problems”
Cute… Life on Maui is good…
