2007.10.08 Weather on Maui




The weather here on Maui is just amazing. Because of the tall mountains, the weather is very different in different parts of the island. If you do not like the weather some day, all you have to do is drive down the road and it will be different. This morning, I was at work and it was raining very heavily. When I came home, it was bright and sunny. My work is only about 3 kilometers from my home, but the weather was so different. Later, when I went out again and drove a few kilometers, the rain started, then when I got home it was, of course, bright and sunny. In most places, this would be considered a very strange event, but here it is just another day on Maui.
