Halloween is a great time to be in the United States, especially here on Maui. At Halloween, everyone dresses up in costumes and has parties where children get lots of candy. Every school has small parades or parties for the students, and children do “trick or treat” as well, where they go around the neighborhood asking for candy.

On Maui, the Halloween celebration is the biggest event of the year. Thousands of people come from all over the world for the party on Front Street in Lahaina. There is a parade for kids during the day, and after sunset, the party for adults is really wild. If you are planning to visit Maui, Halloween season at the end of October is a great time to be here.
